How it works
No lowball at the door, no payment before inspection. Here's exactly what happens from your first click to money in hand.
- 1
Describe your device
Pick the model and answer a short set of condition questions. The more honest you are, the closer your preliminary offer will be to the final one.
- 2
Get a preliminary offer
You see a preliminary cash offer on screen right away. It's based on your answers, it isn't a final payment, and it's good for 48 hours.
- 3
Accept your offer
Tap Accept Offer. For mail-in, we email your prepaid shipping label within 1 business day.
- 4
Send it in
Back up and erase the device, turn off Activation Lock, pack it securely, attach the label and drop it off with the carrier.
- 5
Inspection
We verify the model, storage, carrier, locks, battery, screen, housing and functionality. Photos are recorded as part of the inspection.
- 6
Payment
If the device matches what you described, we confirm the offer and pay. If it differs, we tell you the final offer before any payment, and you accept or decline it.
What "preliminary" means
An offer is based entirely on what you tell us. It becomes a final payment only after we hold the device and confirm it. That protects both sides: you never get a surprise deduction without a say, and we never pay for a device that isn't what was described.
