Shipping & Inspection Policy

How mail-in shipping, inspection and returns work.

Prepaid shipping label

iPhone's Lair provides and pays for your shipping label. After you accept your offer, we'll email your prepaid shipping label within 1 business day. Labels are not generated automatically or instantly.

Preparing your device

Back up your data, sign out of all personal accounts and erase the device.
Turn off Find My / Activation Lock and remove any company device management.
iPhone's Lair is not responsible for any data left on a device.

Packaging

You are responsible for packing your device securely, with protective padding in a sturdy box. Attach the label and drop the package off with the carrier.

Inspection

Every device is physically inspected after delivery. We check its condition, functionality, model, storage, carrier and lock status against the information you submitted.

Final offer

If the device matches your submitted information, we proceed with your accepted offer. If material information differs, we may send you a revised final offer with the reason. A reduced or revised offer is never paid without your approval. You have 7 calendar days after a revised offer is sent to accept or decline it.

Declined offers and returns

If you decline a revised offer, we return your device to you and pay for standard return shipping.

Payment

Payment is made only after your device is received, inspected and the final offer is approved.
